Child Passenger Safety Week

Car Seat Mother Blue Wedge

Child Passenger Safety Week is observed across the nation as the week to focus on making sure our children are properly restrained in vehicles.

Car crashes are a leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13. Many times, deaths and injuries can be prevented by proper use of car seats, boosters and seat belts.

Starting on September 23 and running through September 29, organizations across the country will be holding car seat safety checks. By taking some time out of your busy day and having your seats checked, you will leave with the peace of mind knowing that your car seat is properly installed.

To find a car seat check near you, visit the Safe Kids Oklahoma website.

Proper Car Seat Selection

Choosing the proper car seat for your child can be a stressful process. Our partners at Safe Kids Worldwide have created a wonderful tool to help you with this process. Simply fill in your child's name, date of birth, and weight, and the selector tool will show you everything you need to know. Head over to their website and try the interactive car seat selector tool!
